Our crews and showroom work out of Haslet, so most of Dallas-Fort Worth is a short drive for an inspection, a color review or a repair call. We install and repair roofs across both sides of the Metroplex, from established Fort Worth and Dallas neighborhoods to newer construction north and west of the city, and we handle residential and commercial buildings with the same crews. Start with your city: Fort Worth, Dallas, Arlington, Allen, Frisco, Keller, McKinney, Denton, Weatherford and Granbury, or see every community on our service areas page.
North Texas roofs take hail, wind-driven rain and long stretches of summer heat, and asphalt shingles wear out fastest under that combination. Steel and stone coated steel panels are far harder to bruise than an aging composition shingle, they shed hail instead of losing granules, and their coatings hold color through Texas sun. Lighter finishes reflect more solar heat than dark asphalt, so attics run cooler and air conditioning works less. Metal panels are also non-combustible and, because they are installed with concealed or gasketed fasteners, they stay tight during the straight-line winds that follow spring storms. If your roof has been hit, we inspect it and explain your options honestly. Compare systems on our steel roofing and simulated slate pages, or read common questions on our roofing FAQs.

Read MoreCost depends on the system, the size and pitch of your roof and the details around chimneys, valleys and dormers. Stone coated steel, standing seam and copper all price differently, so we measure your roof and give you a written estimate with the material and color you selected. There is no charge for the estimate.
Yes. Steel panels and stone coated steel resist the bruising and granule loss that ages asphalt shingles after a hailstorm, and many products carry a published impact rating from their manufacturer. Cosmetic dents are possible in severe hail, but the roof keeps shedding water. We inspect storm damage before recommending repair or replacement.
Not on a house. A residential metal roof is installed over decking with underlayment, and often over an existing roof or a batten system, so rain sounds much like it does under shingles. The noise people remember comes from bare metal barn panels fastened straight to open framing with nothing underneath.
Properly installed steel, stone coated steel and copper roofs are long-life systems that routinely outlast several generations of asphalt shingles, which is why we call them a one-time roof. Actual life depends on the product, the coating and the details. We register the manufacturer warranty for your roof at the final walkthrough.
Often, yes. Stone coated steel is light enough that many reroofs can be installed over the existing roof on a batten system, which saves tear-off time and keeps debris out of your yard. It depends on the condition of the decking and on local code, so we confirm it during the inspection.
